
One of those surprises, carried forward from Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, involves aliens and, you guessed it, alien weaponry. Called Zetans, these green hostiles from outer space are referenced on a couple of occasions in Fallout 4, but as nothing more than a rumor or urban legend. If you’re reading this, you probably know by now that the latest iteration of Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic RPG, like its predecessors, is riddled with secrets and surprises. It doesn’t matter if you’re going to use it sparingly or stow it away indefinitely without so much as looking at it again you know it’s there.

One of the countless joys of playing an open-world role-playing game the likes of Fallout 4 is collecting new gear, and better still is the sense of accomplishment after one stumbles upon a rare piece of armor or weaponry.
